Magdalena Cooney is a Seattle based artist who manipulates acrylic and watercolor paints on mixed media boards to create layers of fascinating sensual swirls of emotion and texture.  Her choice of color palettes reflects her two homes... echoes of the famous red and orange rooftops of her Czech birthplace, contrast the cool and gray blue tones inspired by the every-changing skies of her resident Seattle.
